Bed Bug Control
Bed Bugs have reemerged in the last decade because of the discontinuance of the use of broad spectrum pesticides such as DDT, more travel, and the lack of recognition of the bed bug. Bed bugs are found everywhere, from East to West, from poorly sanitized houses to high-class offices, hotels and hospitals.
AAA Exterminating, Inc. utilizes the newest and most effective way to battle the insecticide-resistant bed bugs. Utilizing Thermal Remediation, AAA Exterminating offers a safe, effective, and environmentally friendly treatment to eliminate bed bugs.
How it works:
1. Bring Heat: Electric bed bug heaters are placed within the space; introducing and recirculating heated air with a target temperature not to exceed 135°F.
2. Monitor: Temperatures are monitored in real time from a remote location using wireless sensors to ensure lethal temperatures are reached without damaging the space and its contents.
3. Move Air: High temperature fans move heated air throughout the space to reach insects in cracks and crevices or high infestation zones.
Patented Process & Advantages:
The Thermal Remediation ® patented process uses 100% outside air to create positive pressure within the structure being heat-treated while managing the hot air flow using a configuration of high temperature, ductwork, fans, and a real-time wireless temperature monitoring system. Our process involves raising the internal temperature of the structure between 120-140°F.
Some of the distinct advantages of heat are:
- Heat kills all the life stages from eggs to adults
- Heat is non-chemical, non- corrosive, and non-residual
- Untreated areas may remain operational
- Heat allows shorter treatment times, low downtime, and higher productivity.
- No extensive sealing is required.
- Heat is environmentally friendly and cost-effective.
- Heat treatments allow the identification of pockets of infestation, enabling post-heat corrective treatment on cracks and crevices
Thermal Remediation ® is excellent for those with chemical sensitivity, pregnancy, households with small children, areas that have had multiple chemical treatments and are still infested, those with lots of Dry Cleaning and those with infested furniture. Call us with any questions and we will happily walk you through our process.
